I hope that happens, rat. It would almost for sure require a big sell in stocks. I was hoping we had one more push down in rates, as I like the idea of home refi's one last time. Then bonds crater and go default, and the market runs to Armstrong's 43,000.

Key very short-term spot here for the ES to make a decision as the futures close approaches.

My thinking, if they do sell stocks and run one last time to treasuries, is connecting that '08 high with the other two highs with a line. My data has all three dead on the line. That would give a nominal new high as the next line contact, which I think it would break through in a 'poke over' sucker trap finale (after pulling back from rat's area to prepare for this final thrust up), as they proclaim the end of the world of stocks, and a new era in low rates. Then they default, and stocks go insane.
This has to happen pretty fast, too, timing-wise, according to Armstrong. I only mention him all the time because he's the only guy where I think what he says has any merit at all, of everyone out there I can read. I give zero credence to every other last person out there. But I'd be the most shocked of everyone if we do see 43,000, not to mention what it would imply is happening to the world, and the sovereigns. But, given my view on the magnitude of the upcoming debt problem (the most significant event in human history to date, by a wide margin), it (43,000) could happen...

BTW, WTI crude a few cents from a 44 handle! Not that far from that low to mid-30's I've been looking at for a long time now. If it got that far I can't imagine they won't want to trade a 20's handle (even like 29.97 or something) just for grins. Probably not, but it isn't totally off the table.

I'd watch the ES very closely off this 92, since it could crater if the selling is to continue.
