BTW, those $3+ swings today in crude are wild! Crude has been nuts lately, but phenomenal for trading, in my opinion.

Three immediate levels to watch. I've always thought it would head to the 2040 area, though, to 'retest' the breakdown area. Kinda nuts, but typical.

54.25-56.50

79.25-81.25

2004.00-6.25

Center of areas.

I agree. If it doesn't, which is possible, then it's so weak they can't even get it to stand up before they knock it down to the low 1600s.....we'll see. My feeling is push up tomorrow, pullback into early next week possible, then push to that area into the fomc and oe....if they can stretch it out that long. Perfect set up for a tumble.

you can’t say the market doesn’t have a sense of humor. 1926 spx is roughly equivalent to 193 spy as far as I can tell.
Spy fibs:
182.40 – 199.84 = .382 at 193.18
190.73 – 194.69 = .382 at 193.18

Coincidence?

As usual.

Humorous. So called 'experts', from any time, at least as far as economic experts, are always a joke. I once saw a workup of what various Fed heads said, and what actually happened (recall 'subprime is contained, and won't be an issue'?), and they were not only wrong, they were 100% wrong at 100% the most key point in time to be wrong (in other words similar to in the market saying the market has a long ways to run and is about to explode on the day it tops). It would be comical if it wasn't so sickening and destructive to the middle class. I consider economics not only not a science, but not even an art. It is nothing more than voodoo as far as I'm concerned.
