The Euro is pretty likely going to hit 1.1320 tomorrow at London open. This level might be not enough to stop it, and in that case 1.1240-50 should be next.

Not a lot of need to post today, it's just a 'Yawn, ride long until close' day for me. We'll see if that's how it plays out.

Or just an ABCD, and up for the next leg? That would make the most sense.

Looks like it will close at new highs for the move, running, which is as I expected, and posted yesterday. 'Everything is as it should be, in this, the best of all possible worlds' (my own paraphrasing of Candide by Voltaire). But, with an hour and a half left, and a little after-session, you never know. I see the odds of a sell of any magnitude at literally like a million to one against it.

Agree. But somehow they have to take it down to bring it back up for the fed on Wednesday. Just got a tease with spy intraday 1.128 and iwm at .886

I do have a timing factor here that says it needs a deeper pullback somewhere in here. But, I think 79-85 is calling to it, too, after.

79.25-80.75 is the center of the area I'd think it would want to hit before the close. And we are getting that deeper pullback. But, I could see how they could 'fail' at the high here to set it up to come in.

As for the Fed, rat, how about a scenario where they push it to new all-time highs, then the Fed says wow, new all-time highs, the worldwide panic is long over, Dec might not be a problem for a raise if the data stays good, and swooooooosh, down it goes. The reverse of the obvious wisdom.

however it bides its time from now to Wednesday, my eye is on 2077 - 2104 spx for the .786 - .886 range on the daily. Expect to see it flip down hard soon....

I'd love to hear move about that. That thing is trading say 27 now, but at its peak was 489,600. I'd say it's down a little. What is it leveraged to, like 100 to 1, when you convert from VIX futures to SPX?

I'm experimenting with using the spx/ spy triggers to trade uvxy, based on work that roofer did a while back. The damn thing will knock your socks off if you're wrong. It's an animal.
