Kicking' it off. Going to be another exciting week of the same old, same old, I think. Let's see if that late weakness turns into a big drop, or if it does what I think is the highest probability which is setting the new all-time high. Remember, though, this is a monster area with a key backtest on the daily/weekly SPX.

2085!!! Man, I am just jazzed. I suppose it's too much to ask for a few more ticks so it can be 30+? Yeah, that's asking too much...

I just can't describe how it feels to pick out both extremes essentially dead on like that...
I'll quote a song here. I have this tacked up on my trading office wall. Few, if any, appreciate/understand why I have this up. Today is exactly why I have it up, what it means to me.
"There's no sensation to compare with this,
suspended animation, a state of bliss..."
I suspect all my regulars know where that is from. It's an age thing, mostly. We all came up around the same time.
I also relate to this verse. The last line. It needs the others to lead into it, to give it context. I love to find parallels. I think that's why I have the skills I have for this, I can see parallels very quickly.
"Into the distance, a ribbon of black
Stretched to the point of no turning back
A flight of fancy on a windswept field
Standing alone my senses reeled
A fatal attraction is holding me fast,
How can I escape this irresistible grasp?"

85.25! Up 29.75 off the low. Okay, it's not 30+, but it's as close as I can get. I think it will drift up on the reopen anyway. But, my read was for the session, basically.

So, this will be the biggest monthly gain in the S&P in history. It feels like it.
