I just checked in and saw there was no topic for the week yet, so here it is.

Wow, can you believe the ES broke 2000. I was wondering if we'd ever even see a handle in the one-thousands ever again (I hope some day we get to see a 'one-thousand' handle). That change in tenor read I got sure was for real. The 1950's, as I said, is my next area.

My area, as it sits right now, is centered around 56-64.

I thought that dip there was a nice add-on spot for the buy off the low. Now we'll see how much it has left to go.

That was a pretty good read off the low, and for the add-on, if I do say so myself. I'm not bragging, just pointing out that the market followed along one of my 'behavioral templates' quite closely tonight, and I always find that amazing.

Let me add that I'd be quite shocked if this wasn't a pretty strong bounce starting in here. If the sellers come right back in at the first opportunity I'd be quite surprised. It won't be the first time I've been surprised, for sure, but odds-wise, I'm not seeing it. Bounce, then roll to 1956-64, that's my best scenario. Understand, though, if I smell any hint of weakness, any blood in the water at all, even a drop from a mile away (as sharks do), my plan is to lean heavily on it. All I can do is see what it does and go with the flow.

Okay, this one is going fine on its own, and I need to sleep as the open comes quite early on the west coast. Good thing I got a good nap today. I was all excited waiting for today after that Friday session. It was hard to take some naps when the action was going, but I managed. I got some big fat old naps in. See ya tomorrow after it settles down and I can do two things at once. Hey, the ES just went green!

20+ right now off the low. 20+ (already hit), 30+, and 40+ are in play, in my opinion.

gdx 60 - from a 3 pt low where 13.01 - 16.16 = 1.128 at 12.61 in September, a move up to the the .50 at median line in October, with a test and retest at the .886 at line (second red arrow) to send it down to the blue median line into a .786 - .886 box for a short exit. Nice long set up late last week....

Well, it did hit 89.25, so that's okay. I got the read into the area, and pretty much for the move up. The morning made the move right to the posted area, the move down was in nice waves that followed the principles. All-in-all a pretty good day for trading, in my opinion.
