I think that ES is likely to hit a huge area around 1960, with two subgroupings at 53-58 and 67.

Anyway, the key area is from here down to perhaps 85. 85-89. The key .447 is at 79.32, but it's the outlier. I'm ready.

Can't wait to see if that's it, or if it can get some legs. I'm thinking not in the RTH.

I keep waiting for a big sell in equities, the run into treasuries to put in the final low in rates (the new, lower, 'retest') and a last chance to refi. Then Armstrong's 'slingshot' move as the sovereign crisis hits, treasuries collapse worldwide, and money flows into U.S. equities. It's one scenario, anyway.

Nice moves all over the place, but I had time only to glance at the Pound.
Maybe tomorrow...

Yawn. Trying to stay awake here. Good thing I got a big nap, but all this late night stuff is wearing me out. What can I do? I was waiting on the area, then it just started grinding up slowly. The low? 85.50. Nah, I've not been at this game very long, now have I? Up 23.25 by my data so far. Sure, one can trail a stop, and that is my SOP approach to a situation like this, but it's far from optimal. My preferred management style is 'active' as opposed to 'passive'. Anyway, keep an eye out in here, as this is the first real 'key area' it might not be able to hack (the KZ, of course). It's all about their intentions now. My preference is a monster dump and resumption of the downtrend. Hard. I've about had it for tonight anyway, as far as staying awake.

There is an interesting support area at 1889-90, for the ES.

What can I say about today? Awesome, insane, same old, same old? I am so glad that feeling I got they were about to gun it up (on the higher timeframe) was indeed the con, the hustle, the game, the old make it look strong right before they crater it dealio. In 'the old days', I feel, I could tell like almost every time the true intentions. Now I probably could do that, too, I feel, if I just accepted it's almost always a trap to suck you in. It's almost always going to do the opposite, big time, than what they make it look like, if they are making it blatantly obvious. Regardless, I mentioned I prefer they dump it hard, and I got my wish. I always try to trade what I see unfolding, not what I suspect might happen. I never marry a position, or an idea.
