Pound stopped at alternative level just below 1.42.
If 1.4210 is a starting point of W3, I would expect it to hit 1.4265.

I have to admit, it was the trap I suspected it would be, just about to the tick.

My track record for that is very close to 100%. What's the secret? There is one. There is something to it. I try to think like a sucker, a noob. I try to get into that mindset. I think like I did when I first started. I try to get excited. I try to get into the moment, just like a plain old sucker. Then I try to post that just at the point when I would want to jump all over it. Seriously.

One thing that was pointed out to me by a student long ago was he was surprised at how much I use, how much I draw from, in what I do. I used to use the level of excitement in the announcers/guests voices on CNBS (used to be CNBC before they revealed their true shill nature when the crisis started) to gauge the strength of a given move intraday. I will draw from anywhere and anything that I think adds to my edge. Hence the 'secret' of why my die, pig, die's are such good reversal signals.

And now it's time to get to the business at hand, managing plays on their way to my posted area(s), which is, after all, the purpose of today.

There's a new high for the entire move there.

Next level 48.50-50.00, 52.00-52.50, then 56-59. As you can see, this is all 'layered resistance' in this general area.

I'd really like to see it come in a bit now that it got the new high for the move, by a good margin, but it's pretty strong. After all, this is a solid 'bull' market, with good fundamental underpinnings, so there is no reason for it not to go up substantially. Anyone who says otherwise, to quote O'Bummer, is just 'peddling fiction'. U.S. exceptionalism, and all.
