Starting it off. I hope that with interest rate decision in USA and UK this week we will see some nice move. The last five weeks were just terrible.

Just an interesting observation. Usually the moves in Cable start between 2 and 3 AM EST, where 2 is an hour before London opens. This is quite similar to American session starting at 9:30 EST, during which real moves can start as early as at 8:30. Earlier moves are rather rare.
This week and next one are different due to daily savelight time change, which has already taken place in USA, but in Europe we will adjust it in two weeks.
As a result 2 AM EST is 2 hours before London open, so one should expect the moves to start at 3 AM EST. However, today and yesterday all the moves started at 2 AM, which means that algos controlling early European session are synchronized to American time. Quite surprising and means I have to wake up earlier for the next two weeks.

Yes. I hope we are back to normal volatility levels for some time.

gdx 60 – by standard median line ta, the move down off A didn’t hit the median line (red), which makes it a failed setup, and suggests it’s at least going back to the upper red line, which has the potential coincide with minor 1.
If B is in at the low around where 18.58 – 25.71 =.618 at 21.30, then C is in progress now, which will likely unfold in 5 waves. Wave 1 appears to be subdividing into 5 waves, with (1) at 22.19, (2) at 21.26, (3) at 23.45, and (4) in play now or over at 22.69. Once (4) ends, (5) should take it to around 24.
In the bigger timeframe, with B in, then C=A at 28.27, and C=.78*A at 26.70.
31.70 – 18.58 = .786 at 28.89, and .618 at 26.69

They are going sideways, waiting till London session ends, I guess, before starting a serious selling.
