rat,
Awesome work and great comments. I also will be looking for "a sweet (3) of 3 up" in gold. That could be very interesting.

yes, following the fomc minutes. All the ta at the turns hides out in time to align with "news", so the talking heads have something to explain, and nobody goes hunting for the ta. They don't even believe it when you show it to them.
So, we knew that nem is in a minor 3 move up, and that wave (1) may have completed at 38.30. Hard to be sure until you see action like today, but we had an early drop and then a recovery, and then this drop. Both drops triggered in the .618 rt area. So we are playing short now until wave (2) appears to be over, and for nem I would target the 36.25 area for a .50 rt of wave (1) up. Typically a wave 2 is deeper, to the .618 - .786 area, and can retrace all of wave 1, however the move up was impulsive, so I would be very careful on the short side. Once (2) is over, we will have (3) of 3 up, and it should be explosive.

Nice jump on data. My 'target' (we all know that KT methodology does not include targets, just areas of concern, where one may think of closing a position if price gets there and starts to reverse) levels are 1.3660-70 and 1.3690.
