Sorry to hear that Marcin....we value your posts here of course, and the most important thing as a trader is to survive. I have had difficult times as a trader, and it is very important to back up and breathe. No one puts a gun to your head and forces you to trade. You don't have to trade. When you see your trade, you will know, and you do not have to do anything until you see it.

gld daily - there are two paths for gld....the bull scenario (rec) or the bear scenario (blue). Gld appears to be following the blue count. However, per the red count, it is possible that [B] didn't occur at 117.40, and is yet to come (magenta variant), and would have likely areas from 115.60 all the way down to 109.50. This illustrates that often you don't, and can't, know which count is in play, and have to trade accordingly where the counts clearly overlap, while keeping your eye on both sides. it is too easy to become convinced of one or the other, and that doesn't serve a nimble trader well.

rat,
Well stated, well stated. My impression is that EW narrative is often very conditional. You actually put forth different scenarios for different cases, and I think that keeps one from getting "surprised," if that if that makes any sense.
Please keep up the good work!

Paper trading. I did not even paper trade these, I simply thought they were cool setups, and I would share them, if anyone were interested. (If anyone objects to my posting "non-traded" charts, just say something and I will stop posting that type.)
Cool Opening Setups, IMO. :--)
That 0.886 fibo is a great trading tool.
Both OPENing price drops had a) an 0.886 fibo retrace, b) price reversal in the 200 area, c) Death Cross envelopes, and d) price drops from STO OB or peaks. All on a down-looking day.

Coming back to volatility topic. Cable made 46 pips today altogether, which makes it the smallest trading day this year. And we owe it only to American traders. For the first 8 hours of European session the range was 38.
