Paper trading. Made two option trades, bought a put on GS and a call on AMT. I made a bit on each of them, unusual for me. On GS, I was buying the first pullback in a down trend on the 1 minute, and a 200 retest to boot. In AMT I simply chased it. I did alright in GS, although I lost some potential points in GS put because I lost focus before entering, and the put put price went up without me. In AMT, I got in too late and got out too early to make my target. Alas.

Ai, I have a feeling that gdx and gld may want up for a bit, and that they may have completed 5 waves down. Pointed out to me by an excellent chartist....will try to show when I can

spy in three (3) timeframes - 60, 15, and 5 - there are two counts. the red count is heading down, and is the primary count. it completed wave [1] at 259.85, and somewhere in here is the end of wave [2] up. Wave [3] down will be an impulsive move to a lower low. For the blue alternate count, the high is NOT in yet, and 259.85 was the end of wave [4]. There should be 5 waves up for major [5], and wave 1 is likely completing somewhere in this area. I am agnostic as to which one is the right one, and would note that until they sort themselves out there are overlapping areas that give good trades. I happen to like the geometry of the blue count as there is an area of great elegance up there at the upper blue line in the next couple of months. Keeping an open mind is a good idea, especially when most traders are on one side of the bus. Sentiment has shifted dramatically over the past couple of weeks, and that should have us on our toes.
