thank you duane! yes, I love paris, and I had not been there since 1991, I'm sorry to say. I had been over to the netherlands and belgium in 2002, but now it is clear I really missed paris. I could easily go there once a year, and perhaps that has to be my new years resolution?
thanks for your chart. I think the dollar is setting up to confuse us, as is gld, and I suppose, as is spx. I guess I would be very careful about calling an end to the move for the dollar, as I have seen some analysts doing, and when I checked in with roofer earlier this week for his take on gdx, it matched mine for the bearish sell trigger. here is $usd daily and uup 60 fwiw. I have had the recent high as the end of minor 5 and major [1], for the five waves you showed. I'm wondering out loud here about an alternate red count, where wave 4 is a flat ABC, and B was a fake out high leading us to believe it was 5?

My Monthly DX chart points to weakness in the Dollar. I wish that I had an ABCD in the AB or 1,2 leg, but this is not the case. Can count only five waves up up on daily. That is significant. Could not find any good lines on this chart. That's your job rat. PotentiaL head and shoulders top. Daily could be coming higher before lower.
Al your chart are looking better and better. Keep up the good work.

qqq, amzn, nflx, soxl 60 - these are the ones I was most excited about for a long on 12/26.....soxl has been a disappointment, but the other three have had a nice move

ABCDs are nice. I like and use them a lot, when there is a place for such a pattern.
The wave count you posted.. Oh man, over the years I have appreciated its importance. It can tell a lot about market direction. What one needs to learn is to forget about all the specific rules concerning Elliot waves, be less rigid about it and accept that each market has its own specific wave structure.
