This quote is from last week's Kane Members Forum
The trading area was after a "gap on the 5 min" and gave a nice trend, as roofer used to repeatedly point out. Why did I go long initially with a call? I think because I did not do my homework and check the overhead for the 0.886 fibo before the trade at a "gap on the 5 min." I will do so in the future.

Paper trading. Lost some on Weekly NVDA calls earlier today. I decided to reenter by buying NVDA puts after my loss on calls. The put options did well and I was able to salvage the trade and it wotked out with some paper profits.

Going to a BBQ now, vacation almost over.. I highly recommend Long Beach Island for anyone near the Jersey Shore. Kind of a old school vacation spot where you can leave your bike not locked, key in the car without worries. Jersey corn, tomatoes, and eye candy in abundance, an all around good time. I was just looking the charts from the past month and wanted to say that you guy are doing really great work. I am happy to be a small part of a group of great traders ! Keep up the great work!

Duane,
Your vacation sounds delightful. New Jersey sounds like a good place.
Glad to hear that you are enjoying life.

Paper trading. "I" had a gap on the 5 min with an 0.886 fibo retrace, but I missed that one. Today I bought calls on AMD and NVDA and made a bit.

Paper trading. I saw an ABCD on NVDA near the open.
There is a fast move down from Point C to Point D, a move that I want to take advantage of. I noticed a small area where, as price goes up in the BC leg, there is a little "overshoot" area where the 8ema goes above the 20 ema, and then returns back below the 20 ema, as price drops down along the of the CD leg. I have noticed this "8-20 overshoot" in a number of charts on the daily tf for a number of different charts, as price gets next to the 50, or 200. Price usually separates from the 50 in a pronounced fashion, away fron the 8-20 overshoot "areas.

Duane,
Sounds very cool. I'm kind of dying for ideas of places to check out that are accessible from the nyc area.

One move down and every talking head is bearish on gld.....funny....we know the larger move has to complete at some point, but we don't know if it has, or whether gld will make it up one of the higher targets. I would say we won't know until we see a retest of the high and see what it does.
