Open Auction In-Range OAIR

This is a Market Profile Opening Type.

An Open Auction In-Range (OAIR) happens when the market opens inside the previous range and/or value area and trading is range bound to this previous range. In this type of market the breakout traders will suffer and traders who enter positions from the extremes and trade back into the range will be rewarded. This is a great market for implementing scalping strategies.

One Time Framing (OTF) is not present in this type of market.
