It's too bad, I'm seeing all these cool things, setups, price action reads, things in crude, and there is absolutely no one even starting a daily ES topic. I can't believe we rolled dead off a key KT are to start this down move, we bounced right at a key KT area, the roll came after a run up off a key KT area, the shorter moves came off areas, there is so much action, so much to discuss, and so many members in this private forum, and we have zero. I'm not going to start the topics, to have two readers and no comments, or a 'Nice posts, Jim' comment. I don't get it, no one cares. Is anyone even trading/following the market at all? Just doing other techniques? We may be on the cusp of some historic action, and there isn't anyone out there. It doesn't do any good for three or four of you to respond to this with 'I'm still here, Jim', or to start the topic for today as a response to this post. I'm talking about self-motivated participation by a good-sized group of people, and 'it ain't happening'. It's roofer, and me grouching, and that's it. I just can't believe how much I am willing to show, all for free in here, answer questions, and so on, and simply no one cares enough to participate...

Well Jim, you've made it. You've been a successful professional trader for more than ten years. I don't know enough about your background to understand how you made the transition and under what circumstances, but I can say from first-hand experience how incredibly difficult it is to try and do so; to be well-capitalized, stay focused and not get discouraged in this stage. We all have our battles to fight. Some have other important 'obligations' such as family, children etc..
There are so many factors that need to be met. Sufficient time and capital being the most important.
Somewhere I read a post about the stages of a developing trader. There were about 30 bullet points and point 25 was listed as 'almost there'. A trader replied saying 'I've been at 25 for the last 5 years'.
I can say for myself that I am trying, but I have no desire to sit in front of this with my teeth and fists clenched and turning into a mental case. I need to live and enjoy it the best I can.
You've given an incredible amount to people and I completely understand your frustration in not finding enough like-minded peers. To be brutally honest, you won't. And that's simply because you are at a level that most will never reach. That's just the nature of things. It's lonely at the top...or as the Buddha would say ' the path to enlightenment is a lonely path', heh heh....
