I have to be honest, I've never seen a market that I thought was easier to trade than this one.

Trigger off that incredible set was 1003.75 to 1004, late entry at 1004.75, just hit 1013.75, and maybe not done, plus some GLOBEX potential. It would take some fortitude to sit through the checkbacks, but the direction was clear, so it was doable, in my opinion.

It's hard to tell from this junky discussion in here, though. We need to start up the ES daily discussion thread again. I got tired of doing it myself, posting 5-6 pages, and not getting one single reply. If I have the time and energy and we have that thread rockin', then you can get a better handle on my read, and how I am looking at things. Generally, I do have a pretty good feel for it. It's really quite simple, though. It tends to move from area to area, setup to setup, just like roofer has shown many times. Once I have a bias, I simply ignore the areas against the bias, and go with those with it. As long as price action confirms by behaving the way I would expect at the counter areas, then it just flows and a lot of times most of what I expect does indeed play out.

By 'junky' I mean scattered, not in an ES thread, no flow or rhyme to it.

So, it got to 1014. Not bad. As I said, in situations like this I like to close some, perhaps 2/3, and hold 1/3. In GLOBEX I'd expect it to come back in, and then they may run it once Europe starts up. I'd watch those 1.272's in the 1023-24 area next. This could stab over that daily setup, trap some people, and then drop, but I wouldn't bet too much on that. Likely if it can get over, if it doesn't drop like a rock after that, I'm looking next at those areas in the 1,100's. Long, long, and more long, as I said before. We'll see. This is the key area, we have M's full retest here, all we can do is see what it decides.
