Man, I can't believe you guys. Not one single post last week in the weekly discussion, and no one starting the topic this week...

Okay, here's my parting comment for the day (and the week). No one should feel bad about this, as it is intended to be encouraging. Even though today was a fairly narrow range day, it followed the methodology extraordinarily well, in my opinion. I plan to use it as an example day with some of my one-on-one students. I'm not making any claims here, as you all know I never make any claims of any kind, I'm just saying, you should have seen the setups in advance today quite easily. If not, you need to do more work. Study today's action. Do the sets, look for the patterns. If something is too small to trade off of, use it for price action reading. I understand that some of the things I am looking at aren't in the books, and are only available from the one-on-one, but I can't keep writing books as I discover new things every year. Do the best you can with what you have.

Also, make sure you look at the price action. Today was also a great example of the price action being what I would call 'very technically predictable'. I'm not saying I'm trying to make 'predictions', what I mean is it followed a script very closely as far as doing what I saw as the most probable outcome at every step. It's all probability, and some do what I expect, and some don't. Some days, like a run in cards, you have a run, and some days most of the highest probability scenarios don't play out. All I can say is the action was talking loud and clear today and it was then following through on what it was saying. Bottom line, study this day until you see it. Then study the other days.
