I can see Jim why you are so frustrated. What you are trying to do is bring change and have a forum that everyone can learn and grow from. I think it boils down to how many of the people follow the methodology and put the hard work in. I feel what separates you from all of the other wannabe traders/mentors is your relentless hard work and perservence in the every day battle of the game. So the $64,000 question is if you can't have your perfect scenario of the diverse group, would you want to spend the week with the most dedicated and commited hard working students like yourself, that can carry on with your legacy ,and change the monotomy of the lonely life of trading ?

Well, we topped out at just over 200 readings, 217 I think it is. So, accounting for some rereads, we have some people reading this topic. So far I think we have five people committing, three of which are mentor students already. One from overseas. Like I said...

To answer your question from before, Eric, no, I am not willing to do this with five people, especially with three already mentor students. I really wouldn't consider it with fifteen, as I said, but feel free to ask me again when we have fifteen fully commited. So, I think the point is obvious, the same as it was when I got the DOA on the webinars.

We are a very small, and I'd like to say elite club. Almost no one cares, in a serious, pro sense, about this work and this approach. We're it, and when I say we're a 'small handful', now I have to see that as literal as well as figurative. And maybe now the few of you will understand why I get so frustrated, and why I 'go off' from time to time in here. I mean, get serious. If you were me and made that offer, and taking out the three mentor students you got two takers, wouldn't you take that as a slap in the face? In other words, thanks, Jim, but no thanks. Don't want to work with you for a week in person for free. Nice offer, but I'll pass...

Eric, thanks for starting and holding the thread alife and I wish there would be
anything we or I could do to make this possible.

As I said before, I thought about info-mailing the last few dozen book buyers to get
more people on board but Jim is absolutly right if he only accepts people who are really interested
and have done something for the forum/community.

Than I had something in mind that, we (those who are interested and active forum members) could
organise the whole thing (hotel, conference room, tech stuff, free-time activities, diner etc.)
and we would "invite" Jim to this event. Sounds stupid? Maybe, but at least we could show him that
we are interested and that we're giving something back.
(Problem is still the low number of participants and where they coming from, half should be overseas).

Hi Guys,

I mentioned to Jim a while back in an email that I was interested, I figured I should post it in here also.

Best wishes,

I'd commit but I'm not a "top KTer". And it may not be needed now because part of Jim's intent was to get more participation in the forum. The daily discussion, at least, is active now.

As far as commitment goes, maybe he needs to charge $XX and it would only be refundable if you show up. No shows would pay for wasting Jim's time.
