So the line from my Friday's chart finally gave way with the close below it. We may also treat the last bounce as a return move and KIG to the trendline connecting major bottoms:
Let's see if the dark forces Jim has mentioned here so many times will really be able to counter the mounting downside pressure ...

Get ready for a possible bounce in here. If they want to run it, this is where they should do it from. But, I see this as a lot of indecisive chop, so unless something clear sets up, if one isn't already in, it's not easy to get in.

About 20% since yesterday's low, and about 10% in this last thrust up. Not bad for a stock in the 30's.

I'd think if they want to ramp this it will want about 50. Then a gap up and go tomorrow, into the Fed meeting? The best case scenario is a ramp after the Fed for a day, then the 'the first move is always the wrong move' pattern can take over, and we can get some real selling done. Just one potential scenario.

Real grindy upsloping range trading today. Great to play if one is playing for that instead of trends, but tough to anticipate in advance. Plus, if you play it that way and then it starts to trend strongly you'd miss that. My approach is usually to play the same way as always, and just give back most of what it has accumulated as it swings back, waiting for trends to develop (and just stand aside if the setups aren't clear).
