Long term charts leave little doubt about the importance of the current levels:

Yes, crazy. Notice what gold did? (That question is rhetorical, of course, I know you know what it did.) Pulled back in a W2 'stretched' ABCD with an EXP in the BC leg to the .786 and line area, and then they exploded it. Very, very cool.

Watch the ES here, it may roll after all, but most likely a stop run and snap reversal trap is coming, since they are getting bored here hanging around doing nothing...

Geez, going on two hours in a tight range, a good part of it 1.5 points wide. What junk action.

Okay, they swept some stops on the downside, now a snap back reversal? I think sustained selling here would be the least likely outcome. We'll see, it is a notable area here. But, it would just be so obvious...

Now they really hit all the stops. Watch this right here, if for no other reason than to see if this is just games. It's good to study what they do.

This is a very crtical spot here intraday because the exact 'balance' from the early AM pullback was used at the ABCD right before noon, and is right here now where this started that little bounce there. If this fails, that rhythm is broken, and it should drop more. So, if they want to keep ramping, they'd likely want to come in right here. My mentor students should be able to get those sets right on there and see this.
