For the next 2 weekends I’ll be out skiing so I would like to show some updates of the charts we are following here. First of all we may be certain that Ending Diagonal on DJIA I was showing here many times was finally completed:
The behavior of the market after completing an ED was a textbook classic – free fall to the base of the formation. And since Ending Diagonals can either be wave 5 or wave C of something bigger, then the recent selloff simply has to be a start of something more serious to the downside. Maybe the MLs of our 2 DJIA sets which in my opinion are still in play could be next targets?

the tools are rock solid;.... yet there is always uncertainty... in the case of FAS, there is no way to know in advance which set the geometry would chose..BUT STRICTLY BASED ON THE ROCK SOLID TOOLS..you knew in advance where to look.. in the case of AAPL,X MARKS THE SPOT.

Jim - do you consider the support zone to be broken to the downside or is today's low still within its area?

I'm actually looking at this like the last setup, the one you didn't post but I wish you would have ('context' would have been one final push down to fully test the area and create another finishing move), as possibly the 3-4-5 sequence into the area. My key set lines (I had three outside of the TL you showed), it was bothering me two of the three were a tiny bit lower. Now they've been fully tested. So, this is all a complex correction, or a 3-4-5 and then the EXP ABCD, to finish a bigger 3-4-5 (or it's all nothing and will just break down, or it's something else...). The bottom line is, the range for the area hasn't been violated, in fact it is just now fully hit, and if this is to rise, this is where I'd expect it to rise from. If it's not to be (I'm the only one who will even consider it, it seems), then it's not to be. But this is where I show it respect and see what it does. Probably down, as the majority feels, but I'm still respectful until proven otherwise.

This GLOBEX action is just incredible. Can't say I like the idea of sleeping from 2PM-8/9PM (or in two hour blips, or not at all...), but this action is just insane. Down about 9 points, up about 5 points, down another 9 points to within less than a tick of the 1.272, and then up over 10 points like a rocketship. And it's only midnight pacific time! This is just amazing!
