So, another Sunday night GLOBEX session way up, and another new high for the entire 'bull' market, as 1180 bites the dust.
Now, notice when this hit that potential support area I was, once again, ready to get back on the long side bias. And once again we are at new highs for the move. That was some 15 points ago already. My point is, my approach is to lean on the long side until it breaks. Will we see 1,400 soon? Maybe. Could that high tick at 1180.50 there be the highest price the ES trades at for the next ten years? Possibly. Anything can happen. But, what do the odds favor? Which way is the trend? Is the trend your friend? Do you say that, but then fight the trend endlessly? Me, I'm always about my saying: "I'm goin' with the flowin'"

Imagine if it had another leg left to go :-)
This is a key area here, with lots of volume into it, so my standard management plan would be to tighten up the stop pretty good in here and be ready to start the scaling out process, if the market starts up.

Quoting 'The A-Team': "I love it when a plan comes together."
The market sure 'sees' this spot. We will know soon what its true intentions are.

73.25 the LOD so far. If this holds (we'll see on that one...), then I spotted the area pretty good. Given I can't give exact details and still do my own chartwork and what I need to do for myself, and hence must estimate for the posts, that was pretty good from just eyeing the charts.

Now today was fun. Long is now triggered off that low, and we'll see what happens in GLOBEX. I suspect up hard and strong.
When I read about Greece, and commercial RE, LA getting downgraded, mortgage rates jumping up hard, and a hundred (literally) other things, I can't believe the S&P isn't at 300. But liquidity trumps reality every time, so it is where it is, and that process may continue for a long, long time. But, as things pile up, the drops should be deeper and sharper as time goes on, usually followed by quick returns to new highs for the move. But that kind of volatility is a trader's dream, in my opinion. I know it's mine. So, maybe up it goes again here, maybe it needs more (it actually needs a lot more, but liquidity and stupidity trump fundamentals every time), all I know is I'm leaning on the trend bias for my setups until proven otherwise.

This 79.50-80.50 area here is critical as a 'first test' for this thing to move up. Who knows, because they love to game it so much in GLOBEX. Regardless, this is an area I want to watch for clues.

Ya know what? Even though participation in here is about nonexistent, and I'm frustrated most of the time trying to get it going, I really love this forum and posting my little quips in here. Otherwise, I'd spend all my day talking to myself (never a good sign), instead of kinda talking to one or two people in here. And that beats a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. At least we have a tiny little 'KT Club' of people that have some idea of what I am talking about :-)

Now three points right off that 79.50... Pretty cool. Reacted right off the first 'test' area. But what it does from here is the tell. The reaction was expected.

Great to hear it! You did an excellent job trying to get this forum going for so long and you should not blame yourself for the lack of participation. Stop being frustrated about it and you will enjoy it here even more :-)
