So, another Sunday night GLOBEX session way up, and another new high for the entire 'bull' market, as 1180 bites the dust.
Now, notice when this hit that potential support area I was, once again, ready to get back on the long side bias. And once again we are at new highs for the move. That was some 15 points ago already. My point is, my approach is to lean on the long side until it breaks. Will we see 1,400 soon? Maybe. Could that high tick at 1180.50 there be the highest price the ES trades at for the next ten years? Possibly. Anything can happen. But, what do the odds favor? Which way is the trend? Is the trend your friend? Do you say that, but then fight the trend endlessly? Me, I'm always about my saying: "I'm goin' with the flowin'"

Nice little two point pullback, and right back up.
I'm a really odd character. Let's say, theoretically, I'm long off a setup like this AM, and I'm riding. It goes up like crazy, and I'm up big. I hold my nose, as roofer says, and watch it run up, 100% manipulation with tax dollars, let's say I believe. If it continues to run up I would make more money in this scenario. I start to get upset, wishing it would go down for a bit. If so, I'd be taken out of the trade. If it continues, I'd make more money. And I wish for it to go down. Why? There is a limit to the level of insanity and stupidity I can take in one shot without a break. I long for a more 'normal' market, from the standpoint of balanced participation between participants. But I suspect that will not happen at any time in my remaining career. Heck, none of this matters as far as the charts and the setups, it's just that sometimes I can't get beyond the insanity of what they are doing to the 'free market'. Perhaps I should have posted this in T's psych section...

Yes. That upper // is also very close to that natural TL. Right now the area between that sliding // and these two lines overhead is where it stopped multiple times, at 83.50. Now we see if this forms a little ABCD to send it up to the next level, or if they can sell it more than two lousy points.

The ES just traded 91 contracts in a 1-min bar. 91 whole contracts! Lots of action and interest in here, until the next MRRD algo kicks in. The machines are resting for the next move. How crazy.

Great chart, roofer. That's what is ticking me off. My bias is up, I'm not looking to fight the trend. But, geez, at least let it come back in a little, with setups, along the way.

Yes, all this doesn't appear to be a coincidence. Very interesting action. The absolute refusal to do anything more than just barely see the area is quite curious to me. We shall see.
