My next areas to watch if this keeps moving up are around 70, 74.50, and 79.50, give or take. Note the key TL right here from today.

And watch the acceleration if it takes it out right now, as I suspect it will.

Very curious, though, how it accelerated towards the TL very strongly, acting like a blowout was imminent, and then it backed right off it.

Okay, well, that was very odd behavior in the area of that TL, but it has broken to the upside, as suspected. It's acting like grinding action is what it wants to do. I'll be watching my areas next, refining them as this unfolds. With such noncommital grinding action it may or may not make it to them, I'll just see what it does.

1.272 handled fine, first area hit. One of two key lines hit to the tick at 69.50. Watch closely here.

So, it comes back 2.50 points, right off the area, and then starts up strongly. And what's back 2.50 points? The .300 off the last leg up, to the tick. Now we see what the intention is. Things tend, in my experience, to react off key areas no matter the overall intention, so I study the key areas until it tips its hand. Eventually it has to decide, so I look for the earliest clues I can find that it has made that decision. I find the market tends to postpone key decisions as long as possible, and the attempt to disguise the decision for as long as possible after it has decided. Just an observation that I feel has served me well.

And there's the follow through. Nice. Watching to make sure it fully clears this area, then just waiting on the next area.

Quoting Jackie Gleason: "How sweet it is!"
Note if you back off the charts for a bigger perspective this may not only be an ABCD here, it may be the CD leg of a bigger EXP ABCD. It is also coming off my area (71 was the high, within the range of my 70 area), and also has a signature my mentor students will recognize. The real clue is what it does right here right now, at this spot. The reaction was expected. But does it bounce and roll, keep dropping, or just run right up to my next area? Soon I will see what the higher timeframe intention is.

Okay, jarek, I fixed the current topic. We need to figure out how that happened. There used to be a button on the main page to lock a topic, but only I could do it. Guy told me he'll get to that at some time, but in the meantime, if one clicks on the edit post button (the one above the post that shows the pencil), there are four boxes to check before you get to the text box, the last one being 'Check here to lock the topic after this post'. That's how I locked the rocking chair topic until Guy does the full fix. I will set up a jarek test post. Please go there and see if you can edit my post (you shouldn't be able to), and if you can, check that box and see if you can lock the topic. If you can't edit my post, do one of your own, and then see if you can edit the post, and if so, try to lock it with that check mark. Let's sort this out so I can tell Guy.
