So, AMZN just reported, and the stock is down about 15. That means for tomorrow we can expect?:
1) The broader market will be way up
2) AMZN will open tomorrow on a gap. A gap up.
3) Again, everything is great, as the earnings (and economic reports) show. So, pressure should be to the upside. This is confirmed by the strong and continuous outflows from mutual funds. In other words, everything is as it should be, and it all makes sense.
MSFT will be announcing shortly.
So, what of the above, and what I posted after this, is sarcasm, and what is something I think may actually happen? Well, I think the market will likely have upward pressure on it. I think we likely did see that 'breakout' I mentioned when it failed to go down. AMZN, I think 100 was a screaming buy. But, for how long? Maybe it's already done going up. My view would be to sell some, perhaps even 1/2, right before the aftermarket close, and see what happens with the rest. Could it make up most or all of the drop by tomorrow? Possibly.
It may also drop right down from here. But an entry just above 100 gives a lot of room to work a play. As far as it opening on a gap up, well, it could happen, but that was sarcasm, designed to point out how nothing bullish is too insane to consider in this manipulated market. As my last point alluded to, the worse the news, the more it goes up. Why? If it is truly manipulation, the more potential for events to brings it down the more scared they get and goose it up, trapping the shorts that sense blood in the water, giving them even more bang for the buck. That's my take.

Not one comment today? AMZN at 117.20, and not one comment? How's that 100 look now? How's that make it all back thought look now? That screaming buy at the key area of 100 I've been watching for a long, long time? And the upward pressure on the market? And the key area having been broken to the upside? Wow, I can't do much better than that...

Today's high so far: 99.25. Recent high: 99.25. Watch what happens when it takes that out, and that nice, round 1,100...

Watch the mud (crude), which I'm heavily long bias intraday right now. Let's see if it can 'break out' after this big run up yesterday, or if it will roll down at this extended level, hitting in here the obvious spot where it may get tired.

Now what would be cool, but the chances of seeing it, to me, are like one in a million (but still possible...) would be the move over 1,100 here and to a new high for the move causes a massive selloff. But, alas, it will likely cause this tiny pullback here, and then another of many more thrusts up until the close.

And still I wonder how many of these one tick new highs they can set before they really do trigger a massive selloff.

Okay, jarek, I fixed the current topic. We need to figure out how that happened. There used to be a button on the main page to lock a topic, but only I could do it. Guy told me he'll get to that at some time, but in the meantime, if one clicks on the edit post button (the one above the post that shows the pencil), there are four boxes to check before you get to the text box, the last one being 'Check here to lock the topic after this post'. That's how I locked the rocking chair topic until Guy does the full fix. I will set up a jarek test post. Please go there and see if you can edit my post (you shouldn't be able to), and if you can, check that box and see if you can lock the topic. If you can't edit my post, do one of your own, and then see if you can edit the post, and if so, try to lock it with that check mark. Let's sort this out so I can tell Guy.
