This coil will get unwound after Tuesday's meeting. The question is which way?

Okay, I posted a lot more in here today than expected. I may not post as much the next few days, we'll see. With all the 'action' that is sure to unfold, though, I'll try to post as much as I can.

.447 gives way. Yeah, that was hard to see coming. I think we see a new high for the entire move either tonight or early tomorrow morning. Nice dip, but now almost ten points straight up off that, and no let up in the rising tendency. Same old, same old with these guys. Just too obvious...

So, back in August I said I thought the market would rise basically non-stop until the election (at a minimum), through the usually seasonally weak Sept and Oct periods. It's election day, and the ES is one point from the high for the entire move since the August low, and the day is young and the ES is looking strong. When I said rise until the election, I meant in a general sense. I didn't expect it would be at a new high for the move the day of the election! But lo and behold... I hope everyone did some great trading from the long side all the way up. I wonder if we'll all be laughing if my other read, ES 10,000, comes to pass just as surely???

Watch as those stops are hit and the new high for the entire move off the August low is hit. On election day! What a big surprise. Everyone better hope my read of ES 10,000 (due to a collapse in the USD) is my worst read ever. That is, unless spending $50-$60 for a loaf of bread sounds good to you...

Curious, it hits the high for the move, 93.00, and backs off. Try number four at that level. Very, very curious...

So, was that the pullback to send this up over 93? Or will it just meander until close? I know they want that new high real, real bad...

And the bulls win once again. They will win until the total collapse of the known financial system, in my opinion. Look at commodities. How huge increases in food, pump gas, building materials, etc. will help this recovery I just can't fathom. I think crude will take out the $147 high soon. I use the term 'soon' here in a relative way. Go back to the trend into $147, put that slope on it from here, and estimate the time. I think it will happen faster, but my conservative estimate is about that. But, this time $147 won't slow it down, in my opinion. Bern-quacke is getting exactly what he wants. Heads we lose, tails we die...
