1286.25-1288.25 big confluence area

1277.50-1279.00 ditto

1272.25-1273.50 ditto

1268.50 NPOC

So much for a rally

INDU hit the bottom of the yesterday's gap. Looking for a bounce

Battle to recapture 1274. 1276.25- .50 above. Failure at 1285.50 and is what it is.
Of interest, 1288.50- 38.50=1250 .
Maybe no decision today. 1274 needs to break and hold for either direction.

What is the importance of 1274 David, please?

In a decline there are levels and then there are levels. This is the one that tells you if you can turn, or are going to continue down, from a deviation standpoint and a fib basis. Support or resistance ground zero for a move in either direction. Can't type more right now but tried to lay it out over last several days posts.
Like your contributions here, even though I don't use volume. Interesting posts and I like to study others methods.

Luckily was able to avoid entry @NPOC due to Greece issues. Whew!

No fear here so far for the shorts. No apology needed Lisa P. Sorry I couldn't elaborate more for you at the time. Need to keep a higher low shorter timeframes. 1263.25 and 1257.75 range markers and lower high needs to break for higher here. Not forgetting 1261.50 is the S/R level that held last we met here(it did piecre).
