So we are in advance, which statistically happens once in a decade and there are some lines in the current area, but who said, we can't go for something even bigger than that this time around?

Somewhere in the coming week I'll disappear for more than 2 weeks for my first holidays this year, so you'll have a chance to rest from me for some time

That usually means it's a trap, in my experience.

This 32 area is a key line spot, so if they are going to run it up this is a great spot to start from. It will be a GLOBEX thing, of course, if they do, or perhaps some after-cash pump.

That initial after-cash weakness there, though, makes me wonder if I might finally get some selling.

There it goes, as expected. That weakness was the hook to suck the last suckers in. Next the TL gives way, and everyone is totally trapped. These guys are good.

And in the last minute they take the TL out. Wow.

I just upgraded to eSignal because I wanted to have the ability to place orders to my broker directly from the charts. The sales guy at eSignal told me I would have all the fibonacci and line tools as Qcharts and more but to my surprise eSignal does not seem to have as good or as many drawing tools as qcharts. Are most of you placing orders to your broker directly from the charts or off the charts? Any thoughts on Qcharts vs eSignal?

I use one platform (Tradestation) - for both charting and trade placement (and datafeed). I do like the convenience of using one software for both. I can't place trades directly from the chart by clicking on the chart but that is not a desire of mine.

I also use Multicharts DT because it has exactly one feature useful to me. But it doesn't have the Schiff version of the pitchfork which is odd.

A good charting package is essential for daytrading I think. Many of them will interface to the popular brokers and datafeeds. But for swing trading, I myself would be comfortable with multiple sources. I priced everything separately once - broker, datafeed, charting package -- and it was too expensive for my style of trading. The best deal I found was through Lightspeed.

I can do it. Sorry I have been away from my comp until now. I'll be in and out, but can do it tonight. If anyone posts I'll delete their post and lock it down.

SPY 5 minute.
The last pullback stopped at 61.8 which set up a possibility of tiny 161.8/1.
There may have been a flat bull abcd on 30 minute and I've marked those points on this chart.

IWM has a similar possible 161.8/1 but the overlap on it isn't as tight.

I do have to say, as much as I like other work by this author, many commenters called into question if his research was accurate. Perhaps it is not. Nonetheless, that was one heck of a government manipulated ramp, I'll say that.
