Roofer said 15 things could be found for silver setups recently. I'm using SLV 15 minute charts in all of below. I have not looked to see what Rat, or anyone else may have come up with. This is my own work except Roofer started us off with some sets, an ABCD, and some .886 markings.

Points 1-6 describe the setup for a long trade on 8/1/11. Price went to uml of multiple sets on 8/3/11.

The 15 minute chart for points 1-6 has 4 sets: brown, black, red (schiff), teal.
The ABCD is marked in white and came from roofer. I think all the sets originally came from roofer or are very close to his.

1. Shown on 15 minute, you have a TD bull with b at .447, c at 127, d at 78, completing at lml on 2 different sets.
2. You have the dbl 127 end of swing at same point.
3. You have 3 touches along a line that is very near the lml. I colored the line thick magenta.
4. You have a measured move. Using the labeling on the ABCD, you have AB down leg = CD down leg - almost. It as between .886 and 1.0.
5. You have the .886 on gap retesting the lml of 3 sets.
6. After the .886, you have another retest of the low.

7. 8/3/11 opened on gap and setup a .886 gap late in day as marked. I added the yellow set to below chart to show the .886 was at geometry.

8. 8/4/11 set up a 3 touch line - colored thick magenta. The 2nd high is at 127 from first. The 3rd high is at 190.2 from first and at 127 from second. So again you have the dbl 127 end of swing.
9. You also have an abcd coming into the same point as marked in white.
10. You have a retest in .78-.88 range on gap day - maybe even 2 if you count bars 5&6 on 5 minute. I show the retest on the green set. I removed all but the uml for clarity of chart.

11. ABCD into KZ for 8/1/11 trade. Previous chart showed the point was at MLS line.

I had another possibility but it seemed so iffy that I didn't show it.

I stuck with the 15 minute chart to reduce picture size but I'm aware the 5 minute chart should have been used for some of the actual setups and trade triggers.

Now to read what others may have discovered.

Roofer, please comment on what I got wrong. I'm eager to learn from the tools (I know if I say the master you will just say it's all in the tools).

ches - i deeply appreciate you stepping up and taking the challenge.it means alot to me..... you covered most of the points in my notes... i would ask that you add one chart... go back to to the low mid july so that you show how the completed ABCD was at the .382 with its implied odds of a new high.. then renote that at that exact moment the BLT set up, followed by .886 on gap on 5 at the geometry... but the geometry generated by the probability set generated by the red line green set part of the BLT. just too freakin perfect...but too freakin perfect ALWAYS makes me think of the concept of joed... as price approaches an important turn... the tools work better and better on smaller time frames................for a brief moment this morning my condition had me despairing that i was seeing A BIG SETUP when none was there....but it was....

16. Two abcd at 38.2 at BLT followed by 88 gap retest of line.
I missed the larger 127 red line and added it to the 8/4/11 short setup.
I've changed some of the colors to hopefully make the chart clear.

STOCKCHARTS has a scrolling feature that lets you see 10 charts at a time... after a while looking at 10 becomes like looking at 1..
