Okay, let's kick some you know what this week in the market. Let's get some posts going. Enough slacking, you slackers.

Okay, are they going to bounce it after that slight breach there, off this 86.50?

The heck with it, I'll just stay up... I give up. This is better than our session...

Up 9.25 straight up so far off that 86.50. All they needed was a little fake through the one line, to get right to another line, and that was it. 'Too easy.'

Not a single post today? Is it time for me to threaten to close the forum again? All that I showed last night, all my European ES (or DAX or whatever) traders, and no comments? It hits 1206 right off the area I mentioned last night and then drops over 15 points (I posted the 1205 area on Sunday and said it would likely get there by Monday after-market or Tuesday...) and no one has shown any work, made a single comment?

As I mentioned before, I said I'd comment in a later post, well, here it is. I disappear from the forum, from up to 30-40 posts (or whatever) on a busy day, to none for months. No one asks where I am, how I'm doing, if there is a problem with me, nothing. Almost everyone stops posting. Jarek leaves. roofer posts once in a blue moon. Then, after a post from T that I felt required a comment, I reappear, like a Phoenix from the ashes.

And what happens? Not one single 'Welcome back, Jim.' Not a single question on where I've been, or why I'm suddenly back. No comments on the forum, or that it's good to have me back. Just common courtesy, and common curiosity. And not a single question or comment on anything I've posted. Honestly, I find that not only just totally bizarre, but not motivating for me to continue.

I also know who is coming to this forum every day. To think none of those people would even make a single comment that I'm posting again after months is just so strange to me. So, I'm losing faith that I'm doing any good in here. The things I posted have been the key points, the key tenets, of the entire methodology. Doing the work, seeing why I chose those areas to discuss, and then discussing them, that's a key thing. But not one single comment or discussion.

I'm not quite there because I'm so stubborn, but I'm real, real close to quoting roofer: "I'm done..."

96-97 is key here. I sensed a shift at that area at the low there of 92, and got a long signal, so this is the first key 'test' of the potential shift (intraday, short-term) there.

In other words, this area should not hold if this is headed up. It may check it back for a 'W2', but more likely would just smoke right through the area.

back in the day, i held down the mg forum for over a year as only poster.....no one thanked me or said a word... it happens some times...we post to keep ourselves sharp and to kill the boredom of the isolation....i just assumed you were having as extreme health problems as i am having.... if i am trading little or not at all i do not have anything to say...

Thanks for the reply, roofer. Yes, health issues were a big part of my absence. I can't imagine holding down MG for a year, with no posters. The level of work you show! It's just insane out there. You're right, I do it to keep sharp and deal with boredom. But I've always wanted the main reason to be to pass on my knowledge and help people, in an active back and forth manner.

Living where I do, doing this job, I have essentially zero human contact except for my few students (which is remote, virtual work), and I don't work with them all that much. And in that regard the forum has been a bitter disappointment for me. But I'm going to accept that, and try to find what I need elsewhere. It's just so bizarre to me to offer what I do, for free, and essentially have no takers.

Myself, I am in the opposite position as roofer, trading is everything to me, essentially all I have. It is the only thing I am able to do (due to health and other limitations) that I enjoy. Without it, I'd have nothing to do, nowhere to go, I have no one to see. I'd be at home, watching TV 24/7, not using my brain, not doing anything. My life revolves totally around trading, every minute of every day.

Not only that, after all that time working on it, I can't get enough. I eat in front of my computer, and frequently sleep at it (hence some of those late night posts...). And although it surely is a love/hate relationship, I'm thrilled with that, and can't get enough of it. I am thankful I have something I love so much, or what would my life be like...

Staying with the long side. Watch this key TL at 1200 here. That's the next big hurdle, and clue. Very happy so far, even if this is it.

Incredible charts, roofer.

Yeah, you have it covered. But, alas, it is futile. That's why we were exiled (or I was) to the private forum. I mean, the work we show, much of it in advance, the things we see and post (in advance), over and over, how we explain it all, not just post, how we are willing to answer questions, even take on occasional students, and I am not missed even slightly out there. All those posts, all that contribution, and not one single person e-mailed me and said they wish I would post out there, not one post saying what a waste, to drive Jim out. Nope, no one cares. All they do out there (and I mean in all forums, not specifically here) is slam.

Look at that thread for my books at Elite. It's comical, and I'm so far beyond discouraged it is unreal. My work, roofer's work in here, to me it's just so profound, amongst the best material ever discovered in the markets by anyone in any time period in market history (that's my honest opinion). And all people do is attack it, instead of see it for what it is, and go nuts absorbing it. I give up. F#%& 'em. You can lead a horse to water (or the best champagne in the world)...
