I noticed on Friday's topic there was some back and forth in the comments that wasn't trading related. Please resist the temptation to engage in that type of chatter. Everyone finds it distracting and it doesn't add value. If someone posts something that has nothing to do with the topic of trading and you feel it shouldn't be there then feel free to let them know by voting down that post instead of responding.

Bruce is the area between 44.00 and 44.50 considered air? And if so do you give any weight for the “air” size being too small or large?

no david it isn't air based on the definition and TIME but it is low volume based on volume alone...does that make sense ?

khamore, I'll take a stab at it. If you look at the 5 min chart the 12:55 bar high is 1347.25, the next bar(13:00) closes and the third bar's (13:05)low is 1347.50 creating .25 air

If what you describe here is "air" than the 44.00 and 44.50 should be "air" as well

If you are referring to the 10:45-10:55 time frame then by my understanding that too would be air. So maybe I'm missing something.

air can only be CREATED when we make new lows or highs on the regular trading session for the first time....it doesn';t happen inside of a range
