What's with the totally boring snooze-fest Sunday night GLOBEX trading? Is this a sign of the times to come? The market just sits still for endless hours, then some idiotic news comes out and the programs go wild, then it goes to sleep until the next idiotic news item?

What a start to the week. Pretty soon they'll be talking about the summer doldrums and how volume has dropped off and it's slow... More talk today about the trader transaction tax, and 27 countries participating. Imagine how slow it would be then if there was a tax, win or lose, of $1,100 on 1,000 shares of AAPL round trip (the current tiny '0.1%' rate), win or lose, collected by your broker as soon as you put on the trade. You think this is slow?

Hmmm, last minute dump? I doubt it, but it would be cool. Anything, just let something happen...

Notice what they did here. They wanted to bring it up a little, so they snapped it down and made it look like it was going to sell.

They are taking a shot at the high for the entire move off the 'one-day wonder' correction. Okay, they just hit the HOD, and ES closes for the 15 minute break. Let's see if the SPY keeps rising. That little snap fake down was quite well played.
