Hmmmm, futures open on a gap up and run. Wow, what a shocker. Back to normal. "Everything is as it should be (and as expected), in this, the best of all possible worlds." That's one of my favorite quotes, from Candide by Voltaire.

As I've been saying, end of April beginning of May the big yearly 'correction' begins, down for a few months, then the big rally into the election, where O'Bummer comes up with some silly plans and the market rallies like crazy on every announcement from him (all pre-planned, of course). Then he gets re-elected. I've been trying to decide if they think he is enough of a puppet for another four years, or if they want Romney, and I was thinking the latter. I now think they do indeed want four more of O'Bummer.

I only care about this because each scenario has a different outlay for the market, in terms of how they manipulate it. This is all just my opinion, of course. So, even though the market could be done in here, pushing it out a bit more makes more sense. The only thing I don't like about that is the timeframe is the same as '10 and '11, and maybe it's just too obvious. Maybe they start early, to fool people. Regardless, I'm getting ready for when it happens. Just spitting out some ideas...

I was going to post this earlier, but didn't. A little late, but better than never. I was going to say watch this drift down, hit the top of that previous price action to close the gap (not via the closing price, but via all price action), and do it right at the European open, and then then it can blast off. Look on a 1-min chart at what it did on the European open, and from where. Too funny, these guys. Let's see if it can sustain. I'd be shocked if it didn't. After all, it's Sunday night...

I'm playing around when I say this, of course, but sometimes I post things like that just because of the effect it has on the market. See, I control the market by making a post like that. So soon as I post it, if the market reverses course sharply I'll look like an a#%. Hence, the market does exactly that. But, the market doesn't realize I am doing this on purpose, to trick it. We all know how much I want the market to go down. To accomplish this, I just bait the market. I'm willing to play the a#% in public to reach my goal. How's it feel to be the sucker, Mr. Market? Ha ha ha.

Market moves up essentially dead off the main area I had for the 'better prices morning drop', does an insane rocket run, and not a single post... I know, everyone is at their regular jobs.

So, three guys, an engineer, a biologist, and an economist, find themselves stranded on a desert island, with no food. As they search around the island, the come upon a can of food that has also washed ashore. Realizing their dilemma, the engineer suggests they bash it open with a rock. The biologist suggests they put it back in the ocean and let nature take its course and have the seawater degrade the can. The economist, looking very cocky and arrogant (as they all do), says "Let's assume we have a can opener."

My vitriolic hatred for economists is truly unfathomable.
