the question might be, is everyone finally convinced that down is not an option? that's kind of what it takes, no?

That's what has me confused. Everyone I hear or read is saying up. Every last one. Even 'joey-D', who is saying down now, is hedging that with the possibility of an inversion, which means up (I don't count his read as either down or up, since he is saying down, unless it inverts and goes up, so it's a non-read for my count). How can this go up with everyone bullish?
Well, that's the odd thing about a 100% manipulated market. Those people have little to no influence on the market anymore, all that matters is the manipulation techniques (like 'quote stuffing', which can cause a market to rise without any trades even taking place!) and government money being pumped in. The idea that once all the bulls have bought there is no money left to drive the market is an archaic concept nowadays. There is always plenty more money to drive the market, in fact, I think the supply is essentially infinite. So, it can go up year after year with 100% bulls. Interesting, huh?
