Am I the only one excited? Ready to go? The Greek elections are too close to call, but absolutely nothing indicates in any way any need for 'coordinated action' from central bankers, or any additional money printing. Nothing whatsoever, in my opinion. But, and here's the rub, the insane part: the market is expecting the printing.

Now, if they don't get it, the market would be inclined to go down. This would be 'disorderly', not in that it would be truly chaotic i.e. big selling, just a small decline of say a few points, and anything considered 'disorderly' justifies more money printing. So, I suspect we'll have some printing anyway, now that they announced it 'if necessary', and the market going down if they don't get it would make it 'necessary'. See the insanity of all this?

So, I expect a big pop on that announcement. In reality, this is set up as the mother of all 'sell the news' events, especially after that crazy pop into the close and good-sized additional run up in the SPY after the futures close. We shall see soon enough.

Note the bearish 'W2' ABCD here. I just don't see it, but it is worth noting.

1-2-tick game off the 47.50 high? I still don't see it, I think they want up more, they just aren't ready to hit it yet. But, you never know, it could sell. I just don't see it...

CL sure looks ready to dump. Are they making it look that way? They are really playing with this thing.

Watch 43.25, they simply can't let it go below that...

Anyone notice the 'collapse' in GC on the 1-min? Same old cartel games.

This 'should' get gunned up off this .886 at 43.75 here.

Could they do the 1-2-tick game by going below the LOD into the gap, and then gunning it? That would be very unusual, but it is possible.

Now, what's the lesson here? Let's say, for the sake of the argument, Jim is fairly perceptive, and usually can read the market fairly well. Think about some of what I posted:

It looks like a sell, and it scares the daylights out of me...

A push up to that 48ish area, then a dump? I just don't see any kind of selling happening...

If one is really bold one might be trying a sell in here...

But most likely it will get picked up after this tiny checkback, and it will happen in a blast up, crushing all the bold shorters...

Note the bearish 'W2' ABCD here. I just don't see it, but it is worth noting.

So, did they do everything possible to make sure that people like me weren't on board that dump? Yes, they did, That's their game, in my opinion. If you want to play, you have to understand that. I have asked many of my students how often they think I am outside of my comfort zone when trading. They almost all said pretty much never. I have one very exceptional student who runs a hedge fund and is highly successful, and his answer was almost always. Ding, ding, ding, give that student a gold star.
