Okay, I'm still trying to get my footing here with this new format. I'm not sure where I'm going yet. We'll see...

Posting fast there.
19.25-.75
16.00-.50 (.447 at 17.50)
Watch 21.00-.50 on the way there.
This all assumes it isn't done yet, a big if. But, I have to see what it has to give.

All three levels are tough, and this has almost no juice for going down. It's at the first level, and 'seeing' it. But I sure would love that lowest level. Geez, Louise, I'm only asking for a very short-term move, and it can barely even consider that.

Yep, they couldn't even get it below the first area, one I even listed as no more than a 'watch this on the way' area. But, you never know, it popped to 'resistance' and may roll down. I think it's just chopping until some election results are in. It wants any excuse for a rally.

And it indeed dropped like a rock off that 'resistance'. But, will it just rocket back up now that it's near the lows? Probably. It's just chop, in the bigger picture. Structured chop.

Boy, would I love to at least see this do an ending the session move to either of my other areas... Or even in the after-cash.

And it does snap up strongly off the lows. Same old, same old. Hey, very short-term short off the high area wasn't a 'bad' premise in my opinion, 'in case'. It had some to give, but not a lot so far.
The short-term to intermediate-term bias has been, and still is, up. 35 area and 40-44 are lurking above. The play(s) from yesterday, last night, and again this AM for the move to the HOD area today was/were clearly defined.

So, again, here's what they are saying on Bloomberg. I feel like I'm on Carl Futia's blog. If Romney wins, the market will explode. But if O'Bummer wins, the money printing will continue since he loves Bern-Qwacke so much, and the market will rally. So, no matter what, the market will rally. Of course it will. And this floor guy from the CME is saying the play is VIX puts. Volatility to collapse. Okay, another guy, floor guy from the NYSE, saying market is going to pop, lead by financials. Cool. Okay, so we know what's in store. Way more up.

The biggest thing for trading right now is if the election isn't decided by tonight. I think there is a good chance for that. I know people who are just mailing their ballots in right now. If it's that close, the answers may not be out until every last vote is counted. Then there may be challenges and so on. Just like Bush/Gore. At least no hanging chads this time.
If this happens, though, the market is vulnerable to huge pops or drops out of the blue as 'news' comes out about various recounts and decisions. Just a heads up in case we don't have an answer tonight. Personally, I think this is so close (by popular vote, I think O'Bummer has a solid lead as far as what counts, the electoral college) that I can't imagine we have an answer before I go to bed tonight. Or maybe any time soon. Then again, if I am right about the electoral college, we should have an answer tonight.
No matter, we are all dead meat... Imagine four more years of O'Bummer. And imagine turning back what little regulation has been added since the crisis, and letting the banks have total free reign again if Mittens gets in... Dead meat, Beddoe.
