I was once nicknamed 'POD' about 25 years ago, for 'Prophet of Doom'. I'm sorry I am turning a nice trading thread into a place to post doom and gloom. If anyone else did this I'd tell them as long as it relates to trading somehow, fine, but start your own thread for it. So, all I can say is 'sorry'. My best suggestion is if you don't see 'ES' or something like that in the first sentence, just skip the post if you don't like this stuff.
Anyway, they keep talking about how the future wars won't be over oil, or gold, or whatever, it will be over water. After reading this I'm finally totally sold on that concept. Just too many people... Anyway, the relevance here is that once this starts to unfold, and the timeline is not too far off, how will this affect the economy? (Remember, we (the entire world) all must grow exponentially just to stay even.) These are permanent changes, irreversible. So, even if they 'pull it off'economically, an idea I think is comical, we just have so many things we've messed up so bad with overpopulation, that the hits are going to keep coming. I'm just glad I'm older. I'd hate to be nineteen right now...

ES! Okay, I have your attention, this is a 'safe' post. Watch the ES in here at this 'flat' ABCD area, in case. I think it could drop lower, though. I'd like to see some real selling, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm watching around 34 and 32 next (it depends on how much it goes sideways). If it heads down at all I'll post some higher timeframe areas, but I'm not sure it can do it. I'd like to at least see down in the overnight and then up in the RTH.

The ES (!) looks totally turned up now, with a little trigger there. Is it for real? Going up now? It might. I'm still hoping they are just making it look this way, playing games during the quiet time, and it still has a chance to go down a bit, balance it out a little. But, it looks ready to rocket.

All righty, weakening nicely. I hope it gives way. It's such a tough row to hoe in this market playing countertrend, or even hoping for decent pullbacks to get set up with.

Curious, but may not mean much. But, it is all lined up with the thought of a bull market top in here. Everyone now says the 'bull' will end later this year or early next. So, I suspect that won't happen.
