Okay, he said that other than some energy fluctuations, inflation is running below their expectations, and policy should reflect, in so many words, the need for that inflation to be higher. Hmmmm. Everyone read this one?

Zero interest rates likely going for three more years. That will make it, what seven years at zero? Nice. And it won't end there, unless the system implodes (and we all know my target for complete annihilation is 1-3 years out...).

He said if inflation goes over their high end 'target' it won't mean automatic rate increases (!), it will mean they will discuss it and decide what the appropriate action should be. You got to be F'in kidding me. But, of course, we already knew that. Rates will never increase, no matter what. Imagine inflation at 50% a month, and no rate increases or decrease in money printing...
When they look back historically at this, they'll all be saying 'How did they not see this coming???...'

They didn't like him saying they aren't targeting asset prices. The newsbots hit that one.

Bah-dah-dum, the Vegas rimshot drummer goes.
(And yes I know it is commonly called a rimshot but technically it isn't at all...)
