Wow, the TL and other lines there are really stopping this dead. It keeps trying, but no luck. That's not a ramper run, that's for sure, or it would blast that to smithereens.

This thing is truly weak, it's seems not to be a ruse. If any 'bad' news came out over the weekend, I could see it getting crushed. But, they won't let any bad news happen with Cyprus, so that's not much of a worry. Hence, it turns out, I just spent about the last three hours watching paint dry.
It does look like the close may be somewhat weak.

They never fail to surprise me, do they? They come in at the last minute, literally, and set the new high for the day. They did a 'W2' retest of the key line for that ABCD, and right into the close they went totally nuts on it. This is great as far as I'm concerned because I thought that ABCD was a good setup for a very short-term 'scalp' play, and it played out nicely. But, a few minutes before the close it looked like they would just wind it down on the weak side. I have to admit, this market is just plain nuts. Yes, it came right off the area (do the work, it is as clean and obvious of an area as you can ask for, the low was the 1.000 ABCD to the tick), but look how it did it. Just stoo-pid, which is the norm. Well, I'm really pleased with that last setup and finish, but I've had enough of this madhouse for one week.

And the ES hits 53.25! Sometimes I'm uncanny knowing what they want. I can just tell that 'they' are unhappy, and will be until it trades at a certain level.

Although I'd like to see this sell a little, I'm thinking they want 53-54 quite badly, so I'm not sure fighting that on a Friday afternoon would be a high odds play.

so......
A group of Keynesians had to measure the length of a flagpole for evidence to support a bailout. They went out to the flagpole with ladders and a tape measure. They proceed to fall off the ladders and drop the tape measure - the whole thing was just a mess. An Austrian comes along and sees what they're trying to do. He walks over, pulls the flagpole out of the ground, lays it flat, measures it from end to end, gives the measurement to one of the Keynesians and walks away. After the Austrian has gone, one Keynesian turns to another and laughs. "Isn't that just like an Austrian. We're looking for the height, and he gives us the length."
