NASDAQ 100 and composite go ahead and set the new 'bulls#%&' market highs today. That's four days running for new highs for the 'bull' on the 100. Love that 'rotation'.

Not a bad day. Oh, and Dow 15,000 to boot.

Recall my weekly S&P chart that I posted awhile back, with the overhead scenarios. One was for upper 1600's by early summer. The other was for the 2,000 area by year end or so. I'm now leaning heavily towards the latter.

A roofer phrase comes to mind. No, this is not a claim, prediction, and certainly is not something anyone in here should act on. I'm just saying, when I think about the above, his phrase comes to mind:

"I'm staking my financial future on it."

If I were forced to bet my future on whether we'd be up there, or down lower, I'd bet on 'up'.

In the shorter-term, we are getting close to the need for a pullback, but it is also possible this is going to 'throw over' and accelerate up to that upper 1600's area. I suspect it might. That would also really trigger one of my experimental sentiment indicators in a predictable way, and from there a correction could form. That would also likely tip the sentiment indicator down from there, when the correction could then end, and start the march up to the 2000 area. Just some fun speculations on some possibilities.

I'd like to see this get to 1605-6 before the expected run into the Friday close, but this 8.75 might be all it can do. In 'the old days' they wouldn't want to hold over the weekend, and there would be some 'profit taking' into the close. Those days are not even a distant memory at this point.

And if they actually sold it a little? Too funny. That one isn't worth answering. But, for those that want to do some practice work, pretending that it could actually come in (cue roars of laughter from the peanut gallery), I'm looking at 1599.50-1601.50. Too funny.

The upper area I referred to two posts ago is from 7.75-8.50, with one number at 9.00, hence my thinking that 8.75 (the low at the time of that post) might be it. It has since ticked lower to 8.25, right in the meat of the area. I'm really hoping for that 5-6 area, but the longer it takes, the less likely they will run it into the close. The run into the close is not something I am counting on, like usual, because of how much it has run up already.

I am curious to see if they do a blast after cash, but otherwise, I'm just in watching mode, no interest in anything regardless.
