Thanks for posting. I learn from what you are doing. I generally don't hold long enough and leave too much on the table. My trouble is identifying a trend continuation play versus a bounce. I think most are trend continuation plays and they end up only being bounces :)

Thanks Barkley. I'm afraid I have the same issues as you do. Concentrating on a single instrument helps reducing it a bit, I think.

Anyone notice silver bounced just about 15% off that low? 15% since last night!

Conclusions: The FED’s massive liquidity build up has been driving risk assets higher, currently mostly stocks, since March 2009. When this build up ends, either due to the FED’s actions or the Government’s. The stock market will enter a Cycle wave [2] bear market just like it did in the late 1930′s. Then after some period of consolidation in liquidity, possibly a few years, the Monetary base build up will begin again. An exit strategy is not required. Simply because the economy will not allow an exit to be implemented. What is already in the monetary system will remain in the system. In fact, after the bear market gets underway, additional liquidity will be required to get the economy going again. Welcome to the century of quantitative easing.

i have lived my entire adult life in and around detroit.. my thoughts return again and again to a few simple thoughts... the housing stock of the city was not built last.. it was built to house the influx of migrating workers from around the country and world who came for the jobs that paid lowskilled workers enough to raise their kids and launch them to a better life..the jobs are gone.. the housing stock has collapsed... the tax base is non existant.. thus city services and school system are in shambles..i can make judgements and point fingers.... but essentially the reason for detroit's existence is no longer there...may be that today's report that the majority of the nation's poor now live in the suburbs holds the key... perhaps it will just take another few decades until almost the whole city can be leveled and something new begins....

But it did. We will see if this 5-wave correction is all it gave back or it's just the first leg of something bigger.

Yes. Games like that one are fascinating.
I'm not assuming it will go further then the two areas shown on M30 and still keep a long position open. But will not close it on 'target', rather tighten SL.
