The US dollar regained some strength in relation to major currencies. Anyway, I will watch 1.1040-50 area in case it needs one more push lower against CAD.

Anyway, my play was short, and the area I was looking at was a partial tick under 21.75. The low was 21.50. Do the work. Do the lines. Look this over. It was all there. It was an overnight play (so what) that could be run with trailing stops and then looked at in the morning if still open. Anyway, seriously, do the work and this one should be as clear as crystal.

I bet twenty-seven zillion dollars that this isn't going down anymore today. Mostly I bet that because I wish this bullish 4-Point CP would fail and we'd have some downside, and I suspect the odds of that are less than one in a billion.

If I were a player I'd be long like 25,000 contracts off that setup right now.

So, let's see. As a 'player' I'll make about $27 zillion from the setup, and another $27 zillion for the bet, so I'll finish the day up about $54 zillion... I wonder how many islands I can buy for my $54 z? Maybe I'll just buy one small island, like Hawaii...

Thanks, Jim. I will study the situation. The sarcasm was too subtle for me.

Okay, I guess my sarcasm is being missed big-time. To decide if I'm serious or sarcastic all one has to do is look at the charts. Plus, in this case, I mentioned wishing it would go down and take the pattern out. Anyway, here's a chart showing the framework for what I had, both the first area, then the area of concern for that play at 20.75 (which was then the new setup area for the next play). The black horizontal line is something I use, but can't post what it is in a forum. My mentor students know what it is.

Note, on the first area, the super-key downsloping //. That was what had me looking there. That was 'the idea'. The rest is just confirming work. Let me ask everyone this (rhetorically), if I showed you this chart and those comments, at the time I posted the comments, would you have been able to tell if I was sarcastic, or not?

I keep expecting it to either collapse or shoot up.....but from where exactly, and when? notice how the second low yesterday put price right into the .768/ .886 zone off the early am low, and to the .447 off last thursday's low
