The US dollar regained some strength in relation to major currencies. Anyway, I will watch 1.1040-50 area in case it needs one more push lower against CAD.

Well, it did bounce from that area, and is now at the 'W4' spot. If they are going to roll it down, here's the place I am looking at. Somehow, though, it gives me the feeling I should be hanging onto the long side... Rats. (No reference to rat in here, this is a saying from when I was growing up.)

If they sell this some more, I'm looking at 78-82. If a sustained sell comes into play, my key level is in the 50-60 range (likely with some bounces on the way). This area here could bounce it, and a 'W4' somewhere along here might be nice, but it may just drop, so I'm ready for that... As an aside, short off the 4PT from the open this AM would be in trailing/management mode based on the methodology.

I only have two areas at higher levels, scheduled around two hours before the close today and one hour before tomorrow's opening, at 21.5 and 25.5 respectively.

I cannot place chart in any format and I tried three file types listed as allowed.
Everytime I try I get the following message:

Okay, area and best line at .447 fully hit, on a burst up. Just not feeling the short vibe at all yet. Hate the thought of staying long side, but the action indicates it, for now. This is one of those situations where let's say, for example, I'm long and making money, and if it goes further I'd make more money. Yet I don't want it to go further. I want it to respect this area and end the current trade. I'm thinking bigger picture, layout, and future setups.

I'd rather make less on this one trade and have it do what I see as a great trading layout, than just maximize this one trade and then struggle to find additional setups. Oh, well, at least if it continues to grind up in this example, there would be more potential profits on the one trade as a 'consolation prize'. Next stop may be the 30-40 area, but so many see that, I can't imagine it doing that (rolling in there if it does get there).

Hmmm, not sure why that would be. My first step when something like this happens is to reboot my comp and relog into MyPivots and see if that helps. Then I contact tech support (Guy here at the forum, his handle is 'daytrading').

One more area in case it goes so high. I doubt it but want to be ready.

This was my fault. I'm making some improvements to the site and missed a setting but as you can see it's all fixed now.

So, I'm waiting on this thing to push up over the obvious TL, right to my key ML that sits just over that. Perfect fake trap. If they kept it looking strong this could be a great trap. Now I'm wondering will it drop right from here? This little bullish ABCD is just right to send it up to take out that TL. But, it looks weak. Is that how they are trying to make it look? Plus, this is not the time of day I'd expect selling to start. But, something make me think I should be short right now...

Anyway, this type of move makes me wonder if this isn't going to do another 40-60 points essentially straight up, the way they manipulate this thing. The short is screaming at me, though...

As I wrote in a private mail - thank you very much for a prompt reaction, Day Trading.

And you were right as usual, Jim. Three points down so far.
I take notes of all 'it looks bullish/bearish' from your posts and try to figure it out but it's not my level of experience so far.
