I'll start the new week off. I'm watching around 16.50 for the ES, there is a lot of stuff there. Like I said, it could push a bit higher, but there is a lot coming right up in here, and if that doesn't check it back a bit, that would indicate to me immense strength. I'm still looking at my higher timeframe scenario, with two areas. Let's say 1830-60, and around 2000. Both are technically solid areas, but I like the 2000 area better (although, admittedly, it would take a monster blow-off to achieve that) for several reasons, one of which is it would set up some harmonicities that would be remarkable.

I am still watching that possible new proprietary timing thing that has this rising until Oct-very early Nov, and then a final push into Jan. It would be amazing if it was destined for the 2000 area if it did that first time area pullback right off that 1800's area. I had said I would post something on the bear market and oil at perhaps $250 this weekend, and I may, or I may get to it 'later'. I'm just one person, and a person with limited energies, so I'll do the best I can...

Okay, time to go into about a three point range now for the next three hours or so, until the close. Grrrrr.

In the old days we'd say '...and the bear goes Grrrrr!', a takeoff on reading a children's story to your kids, used when the bear would rise up. Nowadays the storyline is '...and the bear goes Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz'. The Beach Boys did the album Endless Summer and Aerosmith did Permanent Vacation, and The Bears should do an album called 'Permanent Endless Hibernation'.

Keep an eye on 92.25-93.50 here.

Otherwise, I'm looking at a sliver under 1700, and say 1703.50. If it gets to 1703.50, it's going to want to mess with the all-time highs at 1705...

I got the cart ahead of the horse again. First off, it's not a given it will overcome this area (well, heading into the close on a Friday, yeah, it should...). Second, I have another area at 95.50-96.50, and I need to see how it handles that, too. These are all very short-term areas, that's where the influence is coming from. The LOD was between short-term and intermediate-term. Understand that in 'real life' these categories are artificial and meaningless, there is a continuum and that's all. I use them just to give the reader an idea of approximately where the influence is coming from for a posted area.

I'm sorry to bore with another chart of the same thing, but what they did here is just too funny
