I'll start the new week off. I'm watching around 16.50 for the ES, there is a lot of stuff there. Like I said, it could push a bit higher, but there is a lot coming right up in here, and if that doesn't check it back a bit, that would indicate to me immense strength. I'm still looking at my higher timeframe scenario, with two areas. Let's say 1830-60, and around 2000. Both are technically solid areas, but I like the 2000 area better (although, admittedly, it would take a monster blow-off to achieve that) for several reasons, one of which is it would set up some harmonicities that would be remarkable.

I am still watching that possible new proprietary timing thing that has this rising until Oct-very early Nov, and then a final push into Jan. It would be amazing if it was destined for the 2000 area if it did that first time area pullback right off that 1800's area. I had said I would post something on the bear market and oil at perhaps $250 this weekend, and I may, or I may get to it 'later'. I'm just one person, and a person with limited energies, so I'll do the best I can...

Note the very impulsive 5-wave up, too.

Okay, it pulled back to a notable area and is now exploding. Let's see if it overcomes this level with ease (as it 'should'), or if it plays that chop struggle game here.

Right to a key line I have, and they hit it. This is a tough area.

I am rather surprised this area is so strong for it. It makes perfect technical sense, but I'm only used to seeing this rise until the close after a big morning sell. Maybe it just needs an ABCD here to set it up for the next leg up. I don't dare expect that it may actually sell...

roofer's approach and methods of trading is just so much simpler than mine. I think when he designed his approach he had in mind that it is important to keep the approach very 'manageable', the KISS principle. When I came up with mine I sometimes think I was trying to make it as complex as possible. The MIRRCS (Make It Really Really Complex Stupid) principle. This came about for me because, unlike roofer, I was simply unable to come up with any simple plan that would work for me. They all lost money.

I envy those that can do it simple, but maybe because I have an over-thinking brain (and maybe there are other reasons, which is surely something to ponder), I was never, ever able to do it. I gave up and looked for something that might work for me. That something is going to be quite complex. Oh, well. Like I said, I envy you guys who can do it simple.

Okay, here's the ABCD. I somehow no longer think it has much of a chance of rising today, or overcoming that area. Maybe this is all a part of the chop I referred to earlier, or maybe it is organized. Maybe it is simply selling off that key area, and is ready to head down in a serious fashion. We shall see.

Watch 87.75-88.50 here. But, this could sell, and if it does, I think it would be hard.

Wow, while I was posting that it did pop. Let's see if it's another little game, or if it will actually respect this area.

I'm sorry to bore with another chart of the same thing, but what they did here is just too funny
