Nope, one tick from the high and coming back off. So, it range trades in a narrow range most of the day, shakes 'em down and then up on the Fed minutes, then goes right back into rolling chop. Nonetheless, it's still rising nicely off the area from yesterday, as expected.

It now sits at the first real 'backtest' area, but I can't imagine it rolling over. On the other hand, look at that symmetrical 3D (on say a 240-min) that everyone sees. How will that be gamed and factored into all this? The most obvious is it simply fails. But 'they' have such a golden opportunity to make it look like it will hold, suck them in, then destroy them. I can't imagine they would pass that up. Regardless, it is all so much fun to watch.

The most important aspect for a trader, and in my opinion I will be dropping a gem here (all the experienced traders in here should know this already), is that it doesn't matter which way they do it, and it doesn't matter that I can never know what they will do, as far as trading. Those are things that don't have to be controlled or known to trade, again, in my opinion. Odds are important, but also important is having the comprehensive 'Trading Plan' in place, one that has a net positive expected value over time, executing it rigorously without deviation, and letting the positive expectancy play out over time, knowing that individual outcomes are of no critical meaning, only collectively.

So, CYNC went ahead and set a new high into the close, closing on the high tick for the entire move. It's now on every blog and website I read. It may see $100 in the next day or two with that kind of coverage. Then its market cap would be like around $30 billion. Not bad work for a guy in Belize for a few days of pump and dump. (Yes, I know it's on paper and selling a majority stake and collecting all those billions won't be possible, but him and his pumpers may walk away with hundreds of millions or maybe even a billion, who knows, they have to get some big funds to buy in now...)

Well, it appears to 'see' this backtest area. What happens from there we shall see.

Sometimes I think I should just concentrate on doing my own thing and on having a broader life (I don't have a broader life, in great part, because of health issues that restrain me greatly), but I also long to have a broader audience than about three...

Quick check in here and then back to bed. I love it when a plan comes together. Right down off the backtest area, and now sitting on the line that it had to break out over when it bounced off the key low area. Line to line, area to area. I would love to see some real, serious downside start from here, but I'm not expecting it. Perhaps it retests the key area, maybe around 55-58ish, but probably it will just goose up from here. Better prices in the AM at 55-58ish, now I'd like that.

Okay, I slept like a few minutes and couldn't stay asleep knowing how this was dropping. Anyway, let me revise that retest area, now that I looked at it more closely and not just a glimpse for a quicky post there, and I'm seeing it as 53.25-56.50. It may also try to sweep that low and reach to 49-51, but it shouldn't. It's hit 57.50 so far, so I could have tried to look like a hero and not changed the posted area, but it should go a bit lower if they are really retesting it.

So, this is what recovery looks like in 'exceptional' AmeriKa? 2008 was the 'wave 1' (crisis-wise), and I have less than zero doubt 'Wave 3' is going to be quite an extended wave, not one of those 1.618 multiples of 'Wave 1' (again, in severity of crisis, not stock market values). I've been saying for a long time now "America is gone". Now I see I'm not the only one. The whole planet is gone.

If any written history survives (something I'm not so sure about), they will look back at this period, of when we were in the eye of the storm, a storm that gained a tremendous amount of strength while we were in the eye, and muse about how no population in history has ever deluded themselves this much (not just the U.S, but the world, as I see Europe being a bit worse off than we are (yes, I think, mathematically, that's the case), and Japan and China as complete jokes). They will wonder how we could even do this, pretend we are fine when the world was burning around us (normalcy bias to the umpteenth power), waste the only chance we had to salvage something, and we just sat back, let the power-mongers make it a lot worse, loot us fully and completely.

But, I've come to conclude it just has to play out this way. Something worse then WWII and all that suffering just is in the cards, it has to happen. It has to, because we didn't do anything to stop the groundwork from being laid over the decades. Bye, Bye, AmeriKa, and world. Bye-Bye.
