As has been written about extensively in many blogs, the reason for the warmongering, as it has been throughout history, is that 'the people' are close to going haywire with the looting, and may be getting close to revolution. They need a distraction, someone to blame, and then they reveal how bad it is, but it's because of those bad guys we had to go to war with, not them. 'They' get off the hook, transferring all their theft and looting to 'the war' and 'the bad guys' we had to fight. The sheeple now have a visible enemy to blame, and the goob-er-mint now becomes our savior, the only ones who can protect us from this big, bad enemy. Been done all throughout history, and will be done this time, too, with zero doubt in my mind. I wonder how many billion will die this time? Like the market crashes, which are coming faster and bigger as time goes on, the wars are getting bigger with higher body counts. WWII will be greatly surpassed in the next one. I like that saying that goes something like this: WWIII will be fought with nuclear weapons. WWIV will be fought with rocks and sticks.

It's crazy how much stuff is in here on the ES. Marcin's chart has the framework outlined very nicely. Still, I am not completely convinced it will hold.

This would be a nice trigger. Remember, though, this is in 'relative value' terms, not absolute. Recall my basket analogy. All fiat currencies are in a basket, and that basket has been thrown off the Empire State building. They are all in free fall. Since the Fed was created the USD has lost 96% of its buying power, Sterling 99%. But, as the basket falls, the fiats in the basket jockey for position relative to each other in the basket. 'Relative' vs. 'absolute'. So, a 'Super dollar' only means relative to the other fiats as they all free fall to their intrinsic value, zero, as all other unbacked currencies in history have. But, a dollar squeeze with respect to other currencies (again, as they all lose buying power until they hit zero) could be a major disrupting factor.

Another day where I rate the trading potential off the scale. Right off the area yesterday and basically straight up 31.75 points. Who could ask for more than that... Some day we'll look back and remember how wonderful the trading action was. For now, I just want to appreciate how incredible all this manipulation is, from a trading perspective. Again, all just my viewpoint.
