It popped hard, but then immediately weakened. Interesting.

Jim, it's hard to post anything reasonable for a guy like me, when I wait for a correction but all you can see is a 2 point pullback at the open which looks only slightly larger than noise level.

No posts at all today. Nothing like having a forum in one of the biggest bull markets in history where you can count the members on one hand even after having a major power tool accident...

Anyway, everything worked out exactly as I expected, no better prices, just up, up, and away, 21 points off the low in a smooth trend, 19.75 in the 'W3'. We should all recognize that amount, the famous 20+ points. I could see this one coming from miles away.

I meant over those 72.50 local swing points.

I agree, it was already over by the open. You could see on Friday what was happening, and only two likely options existed at that point, from my point of view. Up, with a 'get better prices' pullback, or just up, with no better prices. The way it acted Sunday led me to think the latter was a much higher odds scenario. This was a Sunday play all the way, based on the fractal of how its been coming off the big lows lately.

They want to sweep it up, but they have nothing so far.

So, that might start it down.

So, just a scare 'em retest of the recent range? Then they pop it up hard and get 'em? Who cares, it's almost over, and it was a total zero of a day. The Sunday night potential opportunity was a day saver, in my opinion.

Another day where I rate the trading potential off the scale. Right off the area yesterday and basically straight up 31.75 points. Who could ask for more than that... Some day we'll look back and remember how wonderful the trading action was. For now, I just want to appreciate how incredible all this manipulation is, from a trading perspective. Again, all just my viewpoint.
