Just a little quip about how this stock buyback nonsense, one of the main lifters of this stoo-pid market, is coming to an end. I wonder what the next scheme will be, with buybacks and QE ending, to goose it up moar. Probably Armstrong's sovereign blowout and the move into stocks from all those collapsing bonds and the run on them. Cool, I'd like to see ES 3,400, or even 4,000. Talk about undervalued!

BTW, as I mentioned, right now I see less than zero reason not to be hanging onto the long, seeing what they plan in here. If one wanted to scale some on the appropriate signal I would not have issue with that (I mean, within the tenets of the methodology, it would be reasonable). But, with the areas overhead, I can see giving it some room. If they decide to take it down in the overnight for better prices, the staple move in the machine grind uptrends of the past, then playing leg by leg is a solid strategy in my view, as it had been for years and years now. Just my two cents.

Anyway, it keeps setting new highs for the move, so it's an easy approach to just sit with it.

Well, it sure 'sees' the key area Marcin so kindly pointed out. It now sits right on a key test spot for that. If they plan to bring it up with no real drop, this is the spot. Like I said, my preference would be 'swooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh'.

Now, one observation the astute may have is that many times when I post that it explodes up right after. Why might that be? Because I tend to post that right at a critical point where 'they' have to come in or it will get toasted. And most of the time they do come in. I do this on purpose. For one thing, it is a clue that it's time to see why I posted that. Look at the layout, price action, etc. and see what you can learn. And I also do it so everyone can see when they stop coming in when I post it. That's an indication that something has changed, and it may be something very important. And the rest of the time, a very small percentage, I just say it because I hate this fat, bloated, one-sided manipulated pig of a market, and I want it crushed into dust.

Anyway, the ES did something it usually doesn't do, and that's make any kind of move in the Friday after close mini session. This time it kept moving up, set a new high for the entire move, and closed almost at the high tick. It is now fully at the monster weekly backtest line. If this is a bear market, it should roll off this, and roll hard. There is a key area above, built from the immediate price action, and that comes in at 76-87, with a grouping of key Fibs at 94.00-95.50. I could see it hitting the lower end of the area, maybe a little above the lower end, and still be respecting the key TL backtest, but not much more.
Still, does it even seem remotely feasible that this is going to dump to significant new lows from here? The only hope I see at all is that not only do all pundits and analysts say no, it's completely and utterly an impossibility, most readers in here, I believe, are also saying no out loud right now. And that's not meant as a slight to the readers in here, who are among the most highly informed out there, I feel, it's more meant to imply just how good they are at sucking people in. We'll see. I don't really care, from a trading standpoint, what these maniacs do with it. So, that's what I'm working with as we reach arguably the most critical juncture perhaps in trading history.
