This thing is really trying to make me look silly. The ES just set a nominal new LOD by a tick! Now I'm not so sure it won't trickle down some more. But, I'm not seeing it. I'm very happy with that last leg (very happy), and it looks done. That's a very Happy New Year for me.

Just when I was ready to enjoy my New Year's eve, I just couldn't leave well enough alone... This one scares the pants off me. Why? Because, just like the 'kits' mentioned in the article for the 'big banks', there is only one reason why they are doing this, in my opinion, and it's not good: they know darn well what's coming...

ES opens strong, and the Euro is dumping some more. Everything is as it should be. This ES bounce is starting right off Marcin's first level, as shown above. How far it will go, well, we'll see. I do know that 68-70 is going to be a very interesting area for it, so I can't wait to see what happens if it gets there. I can't imagine it won't want to test that one.

Okay, the ES is exploding now, on its way to my key area. This long was one of the best I've seen on a Sunday or after a holiday break in a while. Suh-weet.

67.25 with a 'retest' at 66.50 was as close as it could get. One has to watch the behavior around areas and respect that, and not be too stubborn saying it must do this or must do that. When it can't quite hit the prime spot of a key area with two valiant tries, well, that's what leads to nearly 30 point drops like today.

You know what would be really cool? It isn't going to happen, but it would be awesome. A last minute run here up to 63.00-64.75. That would be cool.

P.S. I think the ES is most likely done with its pop right here at 49.25. In fact, I feel a strong urge to short it heavily right at this exact point. Just a thought.
